About Jackson

Woof, hi my name is Jackson, I’m a 10yr old lab, greyhound mix that was rescued when I was 4months old from the  best Maw in the whole dog world I was so grateful for her in my pawlife.  She shared my journey with Osteosarcoma – bone cancer which I was diagnosed with in Sept. 2015.  Maw made the right decision to have my right rear leg amputated in order to save my life and I’m glad she did as it gave me a great quality of life.  This was a very difficult time for the both of us and I hope you find it helpful as I know it’s been a blessing for my Maw to write about this journey.  She shared her day to day struggles and blessings and gave my point of view too.

Stay tuned if you don’t hear from her it’s not that she’s stopped typing it’s just that life has gotten in the way of her ability to share this journey.  Keep coming back and check out our blog, so we can help you or others with this same situation find encouragement and hope and know that you aren’t alone and we are all in this together, one paw at a time!
